The Saint George Vadon Association announces the 4th TransNatura International Nature Photo Contest and opens application for 2017.
TransNatura is seeking for photographs of natural habitats, made without disturbing the wildlife. On the photos only wild animals can be included and pictures taken of captive animals are not eligible.
The organizes will award a total of 3,400 Euro to a Grand Prize winner and three category winners in each competition category. The Grand Prize — The TransNatura Award — includes 1,000 Euro. The award-winning pictures and other selected works will be exhibited on the 23rd of September 2016.
The application is open, amateur as well as professional photographers are invited from all over the world.
This year’s competition categories are:
- Open – any type of nature photography, representing animals, plants, landscape, macro and so on
- Forest’s life – one can only apply with photographs taken in forest environment
The works received will be evaluated and decided upon by an international jury consisting of the following five persons:
- Milan Radisics, Hungary
- Orosz György, Hungary
- Florin Andreescu, Romania
- Damokos Csaba, Romania
- Gaina Stefan Dorel, Romania
TransNatura 2017 International Nature Photo Contest – Entry Fees
The entry fee is 10 Euro for a single category and 15 Euro for both competition categories.
