Type Directors Club is proud to announce the call for entries for its annual typography design competition. Actually this is a call for three separate competitions which include Communication Design, Typeface Design and Title Design.
The 2012 TDC competitions are open for entries in great number of categories. This is yet another chance to promote your works and gain huge publicity.
Winning entries will be published in TDC Annual, Typography 33 and be a part of the 7 global TDC travelling exhibitions.

The Three Annual TDC Design Competitions
Type Directors Club is inviting you to submit entries in the following annual competitions:
- TDC Communication Design:
Enter original professional or student work (print + digital media) made in the current year - TDC Typeface Design:
Enter original typefaces designed in the current year - TDC Title Design:
Enter original titles designed in the current year
Unpublished works produced by students in design classes are also acceptable.

Become Part of the TDC Annual + 7 Global Traveling Exhibitions!
The winning entries will be published in the 33rd edition of the TDC annual book, Typography and be a part of the 7 global TDC travelling exhibitions.
Some General Competition Requirements
- Entries must have been produced or published during 2011.
- Submissions can be by anyone associated with the entry.
- Work designed for the TDC and by the Chair and judges is ineligible.
- Both single entries and series are acceptable.
How to Enter the TDC Annuals?
Start by registering on the Type Directors Club (TDC) website. Different rules apply for submitting different kind of works, so before you submit, please make sure you read the competition rules for all three competitions carefully.
Entry Fee
Entry fees start from $45 for single entries and vary depending on the competition you enter. Hop to the official website for further details.
Late entries will be accepted until 11 January 2012 with an additional late fee per entry.
