Taipei Cycle d&i Awards 2015 Competition

The Taipei Cycle d&i awards, a competition hosted annually by TAITRA (Taiwan External Trade Development Council) and TBA (Taiwan Bicycle Association) and organized by iF Design Asia Ltd. is now going into its successful fourth round. Exhibitors and non-exhibitors alike at Taipei Cycle 2015 (18 to 21 March 2015) – Asia’s largest bicycle show – are invited to enter their product innovations in the competition.

The Taipei Cycle d&i awards 2015 invite all manufacturers, designers, sales representatives, importers and distributors in the cycle industry to compete in the awards.

Entries that have been on the market for less than two years or are scheduled to go into mass production during the year of competition are eligible to participate in the awards. Entries should reflect a strong level of innovation and design quality.

Entries will be accepted in the following four categories:

  1. Bicycles
    Mountain Bikes, Racing Bikes, Cross Bikes, Urban Bikes, Special-Purpose Bikes, Kids Bikes, etc.
  2. Components + Parts
    Frames, Handle Bars, Forks, Wheels, Crank Arms, Electrical Components, Generators, Brakes, Gears, Saddles, Pedals, etc.
  3. Accessories
    Speedometers, Water Bottles, Bells, Air Pumps, Bags, Lights, Locks, Fenders, Paints, Tool Kits, Glasses, Helmets, Tires, Bike Racks, Bicycle Children’s Seats, Sportswear, etc.
  4. E-Bikes + Pedelecs

There is no limit to the number of entries per contestant.

The official Awards Ceremony is scheduled to take place during the Taipei Cycle Show on 17 and 18 March 2015.

All the award-winning products will then be presented at the show. It will also be possible to see them on the Taipei Cycle (www.taipeicycle.com.tw) and TBA (www.tbea.org) websites and in the iF online exhibition (www.ifdesign.de). In addition, all the winners will be presented in an accompanying publication.

Taipei Cycle d&i Awards 2015 Entry Fees

The Taipei Cycle d&i Awards 2015 registration costs $160 per entry (plus VAT) for everyone except Taipei Cycle exhibitors and members of the Taiwan Bicycle Association, who may register at a discounted fee of $80 per entry (plus VAT).
