The red dot design award, one of the largest and most recognised professional design competition for design concept and prototypes, has recently opened for entries for 2013.
Design studios, companies, universities, research laboratories, inventors, design students and design professionals worldwide are invited to enter this famous competition and compete for recognition and prizes.
Identifying good design since 1955, the red dot design award received more than 15,000 applications from 70 countries in 2012 alone. Making the competition one of the biggest and most prestigious design awards worldwide.
The 2013 Red Dot Design Award Competition Has Opened for Entries
Any person may participate in the competition. Participation extends to all design studios, companies, universities, research laboratories, inventors, design students and design professionals from anywhere in the world.
All kinds of inventions, novelty designs and aesthetic designs that are not in the market, and not produced for sale before 1 December 2013 can be entered.
Every year, red dot design ranking, highlighting the top 15 companies, design studios and design institutions of different regions is now the ultimate reference for design achievement and capability. In 2012, the red dot award for design concept receives 3,672 entries from 57 countries. These entries are submitted by 113 design institutions, 262 companies and design studios, 906 designers and 1,245 teams of designers.
Entry Fees
Entry fees start from 30 SGD (Singapore Dollar) for individual entries and vary depending on the entry category.
