The Pro Carton Young Designers Award, one of Europe’s leading student competitions for packaging design, is open for entries for 2018.
The Award plays a pioneering role in promoting sustainability, as it is the only design competition focusing exclusively on cartonboard design.
Winners and finalists will be invited to Riga/Latvia for the Award Gala. The winners will receive one-week of practical training at Mayr-Melnhof Packaging Intern. The will also be an online voting with the best designs.
Entries can be submitted in the following four categories:
- Creative Cartonboard Packaging: Eat & Drink
- Creative Cartonboard Packaging: All other
- Creative Cartonboard Ideas: Think outside the box! Ideas outside of the packaging market.
- Save the Planet
Ideally you should submit physical 3D samples of your designs but illustrations or two dimensional layouts are also welcome.
All finalists/winners will be invited to the gala in Riga at the European Carton Makers Association (ECMA) Congress in September 2018, where the whole European folding carton industry will meet for this networking event of the year. The winner of the online voting will also be invited. All expenses paid of course.
