Kunstwerk Carlshütte, the non-profit cultural initiative, has announced the open call for applications for the NordArt 2014 international exhibition.
NordArt is one of the largest juried exhibition of contemporary art in Europe, representing all facets of visual arts. 2458 artists from 93 countries have applied for NordArt 2013.
Each year one artist is awarded the NordArt Prize, worth 10.000 Euro, with the aim to support the art and culture scene.
Artworks in the following fields may be submitted:
The selection of artists will take place by the end of February 2014.
NordArt 2014 is scheduled for 7th June – 5th October 2014 in Büdelsdorf, Germany, at the old foundry building in the Carlshütte (22,000 sqm), ACO Wagenremise (400 sqm), a 80,000 square metre sculpture park, as well as public spaces in the town.
