Nature Photographer of the Year 2020

The Nature Photographer of the Year Contest 2020 is open for nature photographers worldwide, both professional and non-professional, young and old.

For the fifth time in a row, you are welcome to join the NPOTY competition, powered by Nature Talks Photo Festival in the Netherlands.

The overall winner gets 3,000 Euro in cash (500 Euro category + 2,500 Euro overall).

When you enter this nature photography contest you have the chance to become the Nature Photographer of the Year 2020 and win great prizes. But that’s not all, you’ll also support nature conservation. Nature Talks Photo Festival has founded the Nature Talks Foundation (Stichting Nature Talks) to work with and support nature conservation organizations.

The organizers kindly invite professional and non-professional photographers, of all ages, from all over the world, to join the contest. Show the beauty of nature worldwide by sharing the most amazing images you all make. If we learn to love nature, we’ll also protect her.

The competition has 11 categories, a (free) youth category, and the “Fred Hazelhoff Portfolio Award”. The youth category is open for youngsters who have not yet turned 18 on the 28th of June 2020.

The award ceremony will be during the yearly Nature Talks Photo Festival on the weekend of the 14th and 15th of November 2020 in the Netherlands. We will show all the finalists, runners up, category winners and of course the overall winner, the Nature Photographer of the Year 2020! The finalists and winning images will also be in a photo exhibition at the festival before this exhibition will be traveling through the Netherlands, Belgium and France.
