MicroFlicks, a global microfinance film challenge hosted by World Vision and VisionFund, is sending five outstanding filmmakers on an expense-paid trip across the globe to produce films that inspire.
This contest is open to all filmmakers, located in any country on the planet. All are encouraged to apply and submit their best work.
Completed films will compete head-to-head in an online competition that will crown one film the “Microfinance Film of 2013” in May 2013.
MicroFlicks – A Global Film Challenge Focused on Microfinance
MicroFlicks is an initiative of VisionFund and World Vision to locate and promote talented filmmakers around the globe and their films focusing on microfinance. These filmmakers will use their skills and travel to interesting and unique locations while bringing microfinance into focus through captivating film.
Five finalists will be sent to five different unique and exciting locations located in either Africa, Asia, or Latin America. All travel expenses will be covered by World Vision and VisionFund.
The winner of the “Microfinance Film of 2013” will receive awards and a complete pro level film editing suite (tower, dual monitors, and various accessories. Trust us, you won’t be disappointed).
Runners-up will receive an award and a new laptop computer.
