The Lexus Design Award 2019 competition, themed: “Design for a better tomorrow. Anticipate. Innovate. Captivate.“, is open for submissions.
The competition targets up-and-coming creators from around the world. The award seeks to foster the growth of ideas that contribute to society by supporting designers and creators whose works can help to shape a better future.
Finalists will be mentored by worldly acclaimed professionals, receive over $25,000 of funding to develop their prototype and travel to Milan Design Week 2019 to exhibit their work on the world’s biggest design stage to compete for the Grand Prix.
The challenge is to deliver “DESIGN” that goes beyond the mastery of shape, form and function, and becomes a solution to overcome challenges.
Registration is free and open to professionals, students and design enthusiasts from every country in the world and only to individuals who have reached the age of majority.
There is no limit on the number of entries per person. If you are entering more than one work, you need to submit each work separately.
Lexus Design Award is presented by designboom in collaboration with Lexus. It is awarded since 2013 and provides the chance of a lifetime for up-and-coming designers to win the prestigious award for innovative design excellence, propel their growth, and reach world-class exposure.
