Kodak Student Scholarship Awards 2014

Kodak has announced the 2014 Calls for Entries for its Student Scholarship Award and Student Cinematography Scholarship Award programs. Universities or college students of film or film production and cinematography in selected countries around the world are invited to enter.

Several scholarship tuition awards and Kodak Motion Picture Product grants of up to $5,000 each are available for the winners.

Participating worldwide colleges and universities may nominate up to two students each year for consideration for the Kodak Student Scholarship Award and one cinematography student each year for consideration for the Kodak Student Cinematography Scholarship Award. The cinematography student nominee may also be nominated for the Kodak Student Scholarship Award.

The following prizes will be announced on the website at www.kodak.com/go/motion in August 2014.

  • Excellence in the Craft of Filmmaking Category of the Student Cinematography Scholarship Award:
    • First Place: $4,000 Scholarship Tuition Award and $5,000 Kodak Motion Picture Product Grant
    • Honorable Mention: $1,000 Scholarship Tuition Award and $3,000 Kodak Motion Picture Product Grant
  • Excellence in the Craft of Filmmaking Category of the Student Scholarship Award:
    • Gold: $5,000 Scholarship Tuition Award and $5,000 Kodak Motion Picture Product Grant
    • Silver: $4,000 Scholarship Tuition Award and $4,000 Kodak Motion Picture Product Grant
    • Bronze: $3,000 Scholarship Tuition Award and $3,000 Kodak Motion Picture Product Grant

Eligible institutions are colleges and universities in the following countries: Argentina, Australia, Austria, Barbados, Belize, Benelux, Bermuda, Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, Costa Rica, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Guyana, Haiti, Hong Kong, Hungary, Indonesia, Italy, Jamaica, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Mexico, Netherlands Antilles, New Zealand, Philippines, Poland, Puerto Rico, Romania, Russian Federation, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Surinam, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, United Kingdom, United States, Uruguay and Venezuela.
