Foremost’s Vanity Design Challenge is asking consumers to tap into their inner designer and create a beautiful bath vanity. Students, design enthusiasts, amateur or professional designers – anyone with creative ideas has the chance to compete to win a $5,000 grand prize.
Foremost will also donate $1000 to Habitat For Humanity, an organization that creates homes for people in need.
Though the challenge is only open to resident of the US or Canada, there are no limitations to nationality.
One Prize of $5000 for the Best Original Design of a 36″ Bathroom Vanity
If you are a student, design enthusiast, amateur or professional designer and you are 18 years of age or older, then the Foremost Vanity Design Challenge is a great opportunity to express your enthusiasm for furniture design and a chance to win a $5000 grand prize.
Submissions will be judged on the following:
- Creativity and originality of the design (50%) – In addition to the drawing, the written description will be important here.
- The successful integration of all of the design elements – vanity, sink and vanity top, and storage (25%) – Do all the elements work together to form an aesthetically pleasing piece of furniture?
- Solving a Problem / Need (15%) – Does this design address a need that is not currently being met by other products in the market?
- Can your design actually be built? (10%)
