FEP European Fine Art Photograph of the Year Award 2010

The aim of the FEP European Fine Art Photograph of the Year Award 2010 is to reward and stimulate creative initiatives by professional photographers, often bound to assignment work.

The competition for the FEP European Fine Art Photograph of the Year Award 2010 is open to all photographers.

The winners will be awarded at a special ceremony at the Second FEP European Congress of Professional Photographers, to be held in Lyon, France, on 6 – 8 February 2011. The awards will consist of certificates and an “FEP European Fine Art Photograph of the Year Award” trophy.

Objective

Submit photographs to the FEP European Fine Art Photograph of the Year Award 2010 competition.

This is the only category – Fine Art.

Prizes

The winners will be awarded at a special ceremony at the Second FEP European Congress of Professional Photographers, to be held in Lyon, France, on 6 – 8 February 2011. The awards will consist of certificates and an “FEP European Fine Art Photograph of the Year Award” trophy.

The best 15 pictures will be printed for inclusion in the awards collection which will be exhibited at the Second FEP European Congress of Professional Photographers. This collection will then travel throughout major European countries.

Rules

  • The competition for the FEP European Fine Art Photograph of the Year Award 2010 is open to all photographers.
  • Only photographs created after July 2009 are eligible to compete for the prize.
  • Photographs produced by members of the jury or connected to them in any way are excluded from the competition.
  • There is just one main category in the compeition, each entrant may submit up to 3 pictures.
  • Pictures already entered into another FEP Competition will not be eligible.
  • Submitted images must be 2000-3000 pixels on the longest side and saved a high quality JPEG (Maximum file size is 2mb), and the images must be anonymous.
  • The competition is totally web based; the sign up, hosting and the judging will all be carried out online.
  • Only photographers who win prizes will be contacted by email or telephone and it is hoped that they will be able to come to Lyon to receive their prize in person.

Entry fee

The entry fee is €10 for each picture submitted by a photographer who is a member of a National Association which is a member of the FEP or €20 for each picture submitted by all others.
