Communication Arts’ 53rd Design & Advertising Competition

Communication Arts magazine, a professional journal for those involved in visual communications, announces its 53rd annual Design and Advertising Competition Call for Entries. Since 1959, Communication Arts has published the best in visual communications from around the world.

Selected by representative juries of distinguished designers and creative directors, the winning entries will be distributed worldwide in the Communication Arts Design Annual, Communication Arts Advertising Annual and on commarts.com, assuring important exposure to the largest audience of creative professionals and potential clients in the world.

Communication Arts Magazine Announces 53rd Design & Advertising Competition Call for Entries

The 53rd Design competition is open for designers creating posters, brochures, packaging, trademarks, corporate identity, integrated branding, annual reports, catalogs, public service, self-promotion, letterheads and signage. Any design project printed, published or aired for the first time from May 2011 through May 2012 is eligible.

The 53rd Advertising competition is open for consumer and institutional print ads along with posters, broadcast and new media, as well as the growing category—integrated media campaigns. Any advertising project printed, published or aired for the first time from May 2011 through May 2012 is eligible.

Please consider that the entries submitted after 11 May 2012 (the regular deadline) require a $10 per entry late fee. No entries will be accepted after 25 May 2012.

Communication Arts does not offer cash prizes to the winners, but assures important exposure to the largest audience of creative professionals and potential clients in the world.

Entry Fees

Entry fees for both competition vary depending on the category you enter, starting at $40 for single entries and $80 for series.
