The international contemporary arts prize Celeste Prize is now in its 5th edition and open for entries for 2013. Artists from around the world can now submit their work, regardless of age, profession or gender.
This prize offers opportunities for emerging and career artists and €20,000 in prizes! An exhibition of the 40 finalist works will be held in November 2013 in Rome, Italy.

The 2013 International Celeste Prize is Now Open for Entries
Celeste Prize is an international contemporary arts prize open to emerging and mid-career artists worldwide without limits of age, sex or experience.
This year’s team of selectors is led by Ami Barak, the curator of Celeste Prize 2013.
The following prizes will be awarded in the 5th edition:
- Painting & Graphics Prize: €4,000
- Photography & Digital Graphics Prize: €4,000
- Video & Animation Prize: €4,000
- Installation, Sculpture & Performance Prize: €4,000
- Curator’s Choice Prize: €3,500
- Public’s Choice Prize: €500
The exhibition of the 40 finalist works will be held in November 2013 in Rome, Italy, at the ex-GIL spaces. During the final exhibition each finalist artist will vote his or her preferred work in each category and so determine the prize-winners.
Celeste Prize 2013 is supported by Celeste Network, a 50,000 member social network for contemporary arts.

The entry fee – payable online – is €50 per work.
