The 2015 British Life Photography Awards are open for entries and photographers around the world are invited to once again, capture the essence and the spirit of British Life, through contemporary and imaginative images.
Covering everything from street life, rural life, portraiture and a special award for the best documentary feature, the awards celebrate British life and culture whilst also highlighting the relevance and importance of photography to raise awareness and inform.
The 2015 BLPA competition comes with an overall prize fund worth over £10,000. Winners and commended entrants will have their work displayed in an exhibition and book.
Works are being accepted in the following competition categories:
- Rural life
- Street life
- Urban Life
- Work in the community
- Brits on holiday
- British fashion and popular culture
- British weather
- Historic Britain
- Documentary series and photojournalist award
- Young British Life Photographer
The 2015 BLPA competition is open to anyone except those directly involved in the organization and judging. Both professional and amateur photographers are eligible to enter.
British Life Photography Awards 2015 Fees
The competition fees start at £5 per image, for single images and £10 for series of up to 3 photos or £20 for submitting up to 20 photos.
