The Hellenic Centre for Photography has recently opened the call for submissions for APhF:15, Athens Photo Festival 2015 and is currently seeking for photography projects, multimedia/video projects, and photobooks from photographers around the world.
The selected projects will be presented and exhibited during the Athens Photo Festival 2015 at the Benaki Museum from 3 June to 26 July, 2015.
Emerging or established artists/photographers, curators, collectives, archives galleries and organizations worldwide are eligible to submit works.
Athens Photo Festival focuses on a specific theme, encompassing a range of photo-based forms including photography, installations, multimedia and photobooks. The 2015 festival theme under the title “Reframing Memory” explore photography’s active role in reconstructing the past/history, bringing together a wide range of international artistic positions.
Different submission deadlines apply for different kinds of entries:
- 16 February 2015 – photography projects
- 16 March 2015 – multimedia/video projects, and photobooks
- 23 March 2015 – Young Greek Photographers submissions
Athens Photo Festival (APhF) is the annual festival of photography in Greece and a premier cultural event in Athens, established in 1987.
Athens Photo Festival 2015 Entry Fees
The entry fee for the Main exhibition programme is 15 Euro.
Entry is free for multimedia and photobook projects as well as for the Young Greek Photographers exhibition 2015.
