The Hellenic Centre for Photography is calling for submissions for APhF:13 – Athens Photo Festival 2013. Proposals from established or emerging artists, galleries, curators and organisations worldwide are being accepted in all areas of contemporary photography.
The selected projects will be presented in the upcoming Αthens Photo Festival, which takes place in Athens during the months of October and November.
Each year, the festival focuses on a specific theme, encompassing photography, multimedia, talks and research. This year’s festival theme will explore the concept of “Fluid Identities” in the context of the changing state of contemporary society, both physical and metaphorical, and how it is reflected on environments, people and cultures.
There are two categories for submission:
- Photography (still images only)
The Hellenic Centre for Photography is also accepting submissions the 2013 Young Greek Photographers exhibition, but that call is only open to Greek photographers.
Athens Photo Festival, is the largest photography event in Greece and a premier cultural event in Athens. The Festival has over 25 years of active and creative presence.
