After the undeniable success of the previous years, Shicon proudly presents the “ANCI Creative Award – Cool Hunting Edition”. Launched for the first time in March 2009, the ANCI Creative Award was created to foster engagement with younger people, to understand their perspective of Made-in-Italy footwear, and also to bring new ideas and input to the industry through contemporary communication media.
This year ANCI is asking for your photos! ANCI is looking for pictures of “The coolest style of the shoes made in Italy”!
The ANCI Creative Award 2011 features a €3,500 prize pot + visibility at the MICAM 2011 exhibition.
ANCI is asking for your photos, made either with a camera or a smartphone, as far as they have good quality/resolution (to be printed in A3 format) and they are focussed on shoes which represent: “The coolest style of the shoes made in Italy“!
Hence you can be a pro or just an amateur, that’s not relevant to win! What really matters is your ability to capture the essence of Made-in-Italy footwear: elegant, funny, stylish, passion-fuelled…
ANCI will select the best 30 photos in the following two categories: “the coolest shoes” and “the coolest people/ambient” which will be printed in large format (A3) mentioning the name of the author and which will be shown to press, exhibitors and visitors at MICAM 2011 in Milan.
Among the 30 winning photos, for each of the two categories ANCI will award 3 cash prizes (6 prizes in total):
- First prize: €1,000
- Second prize: €500
- Third prize: €250
There will also be a grand winner, chosen between the two first prizes, who will get a return economy-class flight + hotel for 2 nights in Milan (Italy) paid by ANCI to attend the winning ceremony at MICAM.
- Photos of Made-in-Italy footwear for women, men and children can be submitted. Training/sports shoes and working boots are strictly forbidden.
- The number of entries per entrant is not limited.
