Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery announces another monthly juried competition. This time the theme is “Abstracts”. 2D artists (including Photography & excluding Video) are called upon to make online submissions for inclusion into the Gallery’s July 2011 online group exhibition.
Light Space & Time encourages entries from all 2D artists regardless of where they reside and regardless of their experience or education in the art field.
For those of you who don’t already know, Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery conducts monthly art competitions and monthly art exhibitions for new and emerging artists.
Objective
The theme for the Light Space & Time June’s juried art competition is “Abstracts“. Submit up to five 2D works on the this theme.
Experimental and mixed techniques are also welcome.
Prizes
A group exhibition of the top five finalists will be held online at the Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery during the month of July 2011. Awards will be for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places. In addition, 2 artists will be recognized with Honorable Mention awards. Depending on the amount and the quality of the entries there may also be Special Recognition awards posted as well.
Winners of the Abstracts Exhibition will receive extensive publicity in the form of email marketing, 70+ press release announcements, social media marketing and website traffic in order to make the art world aware of the artist’s accomplishments. There will also be links back to the artist’s website as part of this achievement.
Rules
- The CityScapes juried competition is open to all amateur and professional artists worldwide.
- Only 2D work is eligible and each file may not exceed 1MB and must be in a jpeg format.
- No images from previous Light Space & Time competitions are allowed to be entered again.

Entry fee
The entry fee is $10 for two (2) entries or $15 three or more, up to five (5) entries.
