2015 Comic-Con International Independent Film Festival

The Comic-Con International Independent Film Festival (CCI-IFF) has opened the 2015 Call for Entries and calling for independent films from around the world. The Festival includes action/adventure, animation, comics-oriented, documentary, horror/suspense, humor, and science fiction/fantasy short and long films, features prizes and trophies and is judged by a panel of film industry luminaries.

The Call is only open to films, previously not submitted to the CCI, whether accepted or denied.

Films submitted should be in one of the following categories:

  • Action/Adventure
  • Animation
  • Comics-oriented
  • Documentary (limited to genre and pop culture topics)
  • Horror/Suspense
  • Humor
  • Science Fiction/Fantasy

All films must be no longer than 95 minutes in length and appropriate for an all-ages audience, with only one submission per filmmaker allowed.

Since 2000, San Diego has been the home of the Comic-Con International Independent Film Festival (CCI-IFF), a four-day event that highlights the best in genre-related filmmaking.

In 2015, the Comic-Con International Independent Film Festival celebrates it’s eleventh year as a juried event. The 2015 event is scheduled for 9th through 12th July.
