15th :output Student Design / Architecture Award

Students, the :output Foundation is inviting you to register your works for the 15th :output Award! The :output Award is the biggest international competition for students in design and architecture.

The best work is honoured with the :output Grand Prix which includes a scholarship of 3,000 Euros.

Every year more than 1,000 students from more than 40 different countries submit their best projects to the competition. An international jury makes the selection which will be presented in the :output yearbook.

Calling for Student Works in Design / Architecture!

Works, not older than one year, related to any area of design and architecture, such as: graphic design / architecture / product design / typography / photography / illustration / typeface design / multimedia, moving image and television graphics / experience design are eligible for submission.

A Chance to Win A €3,000 Scholarship + Get Featured in the :output Yearbook

All projects submitted to the :output competition will be eligible for the :output Grand Prix. An international jury will choose the Grand Prix winner who will receive a scholarship of 3,000 EUR. This scholarship is meant to support young talents in Design and Architecture and to present works from students to a broader design and architectural audience.

All works which have been submitted to the :output Award will be published on the open :output platform. The Grand Prix together with about 80 selected works will not only be published in the :output yearbook but also in the :output hall of fame on the portfolio-platform open:output.org

The :output Award is an Annual International Competition for Students

  • Anyone who is currently studying communication design, product design, architecture, inter- action design or film at a university or a college is eligible to participate. Students who have graduated within the last 12 months may also submit final degree works.
  • Any work, which has been produced as a student project, is eligible for submission.
  • The work may not be older than one year.
  • The project does not have to be published.
