Taipei International Design Award 2015 Competition

The Department of Economic Development (DOED) of the Taipei City Government has recently opened registration for the 2015 Taipei International Design Award (TIDA) competition.

Creative designers, teachers and students of design schools, and people with design passion from around the globe are invited to submit design works, to be publicly selected among international design works, as well as serve as creative design exchange platform to discover creative works with commercial potential.

This year, the Taipei International Design Award (TIDA) competition has a total prize of more than NT$3 million, that’s more than US$95,000.

Entries are grouped into three main categories: Industrial Design, Visual Communication Design and Public Space Design.

The organizers encourage using universal design to improve the city’s economic, social, environmental, and cultural development by providing its users with a safer, harmonious, and more convenient lifestyle.

Submitted entries must be original and completed after 30 June 2013.

Results will be announced on the official website and at an award ceremony, scheduled for 15 November 2015.
