Kunstwerk Carlshütte has opened the 2015 call for applications for NordArt, one of the largest juried exhibition of contemporary art in Europe. The NordArt juried exhibition represents all facets of visual arts and annually selects some 250 selected artists from all over the world.

To support the art and culture scene, each year one artist is awarded the NordArt-Prize, worth 10,000 Euro! Three artists will also be selected for the Public Choice Award, worth three times 1,000 Euro.

The NortArt 2015 exhibition is scheduled for 6th June through 4th October, 2015 at the old foundry building in the Carlshütte (22,000 sqm), ACO Wagenremise (400 sqm), a 80,000 square metre sculpture park, as well as public spaces in the town of Büdelsdorf, Germany.

A list of the invited artists will be published online on the Official Website by the beginning of March 2015 and prize winners will be announced in September 2015, during “The Long Night of the Lights”.

Kunstwerk Carlshütte is a non-profit cultural initiative and organizes the NordArt exhibition.

Nearly 3,000 artists from 101 countries have applied for NordArt 2014.
